i have known michelle, the beautiful mama of these twin girls, since college! i was so excited (and honored!) when she contacted me to do newborn photos of her girls. these sweet babes were born two months early and spent some time in the NICU, but are both home and doing well. i had so much fun photographing this beautiful family…and i love the light they get in their house!!! (i was a little jealous…) here are my favorites from the day!
i was so excited to get a phone call from karen on friday, saying she needed a photographer for her son’s naming ceremony plus some quick portraits afterward. here’s a quick peek at my favorites!
this beautiful family wanted to do a shoot for their Christmas cards in downtown brea…a new favorite location for me! i loved the fantastic decorations, brick, and hidden walkways. christy’s parents know my parents, and it was fun to meet her and her family! thanks for trusting me with these memories!!

We have known the Booths since college, and have been so happy to live relatively close to them for the past three years! I’ve enjoyed photographing their family at Christmastime for the past few years as well. They have two super sweet boys who were really excited to see me (well, the bigger of the two anyway), and I got some fun shots. Thanks friends!!

My husband is on the faculty at Pepperdine University, and every year his program throws a formal, complete with Wood Ranch dinner, games, dancing, and since we’ve been there I’ve added photos. This is the first year I did a photobooth with a casino theme to go along with the theme of the party (thanks to Abby at paper&CAKE!!), and it worked out SO well. The students thought it was fun, the photos are hilarious, and the students had a good time!

I had the pleasure of photographing this {growing} family over the weekend. It was rainy, so we used the inside of their home, which was perfect for some casual shots for their holiday cards. It was so much fun, I do love chasing kiddos around!!
i did a mini-session with the wecks family before scarlett’s big party. we got a few sweet shots! it was fun laughing with them (and i photographed lindi that morning too – she’s brandi’s sister). we had a blast! thank you for letting me photograph you three…i love you!!
