First, I love Disneyland. Every time I go, it brings back amazing childhood memories: going on Space Mountain with my dad, chasing Mickey Mouse until we could get his autograph and picture, eating churros and frozen bananas, the Main Street Electrical Parade… I could go on and on. I still love Disneyland and I love taking our boys there and that they love it! I was just looking through some of my favorite Disneyland pictures (some are my own family, some are sessions I did in the park) and wanted to share them with you! 🙂 Let me know if you’re interested in having a family or engagement session done in the park!
Many of you know Scarlett and her story (one that’s way too big for any two year old!). Read about her journey here, if you’re unfamiliar! I got to do this shoot after Scarlett’s latest surgery and before starting chemo. I was blessed with lots of smiles!
I now love LOVE shooting in san francisco. I always knew it would be amazing, and even though it rained the whole time, I still love these images! There are so many places to duck out of the rain and we barely scratched the surface! I know Beth from an online mommy group, and was excited to photograph her family again!
I had so much fun photographing this family, partly because I have known Krista since junior high! (You have an instant bond when you share an uncommon first name, I think.) These little boys are going to be serious heartbreakers one day soon, so watch out Krista. 🙂 I had a hard time choosing my favorites, there were so many I loved!
“How about we check out that playground over there, you guys.”
This little one was not terribly thrilled about being photographed until the very end. And then he gave me this and my heart melted.
Jason and Regina have such sweet and adorable kids. And they’re also two of the nicest people I know! I went to visit my parents and got to do a few shoots after Christmas, and am so happy I got to meet these little girls! 🙂
Regina made their little tutus. So. adorable.
And who can resist ruffly initialed bloomers?
Their big kid is so handsome, and liked taking “cool dude” pictures. He’s pretty good at it!
And then tried to make a break for it. Luckily dad has quick reflexes. 🙂
I have known Caroline since college, and was so excited to photograph her entire family just before Christmas. Her brothers and their families were in town from out of state, so they wanted to get photos of everyone!
I think this next one is my absolute favorite from the session. It’s so sweet.
I have been blessed to photograph this growing family starting when their first daughter was on the way three years ago! They just added a second precious little girl to their family and I was able to do a fun session with this lovely family of four. It was so much fun!
When I was at Disneyland last week I did two sessions, and this one came about by chance! Jen is a friend of our family, and we used to run around when our dads played baseball together! Her family was going to be at the park for a few days before Thanksgiving and I already had a shoot scheduled and wanted to say hello. She mentioned that they hadn’t had family photos done in awhile and voila! We did some! I had a great time!! 🙂
Jen mentioned that they have a photo here from years ago…So we had to take another one! 🙂
I love photographing this family! This year we met up at Disneyland for their Christmas card photos. It was so much fun. That place is so impeccably decorated, the kids got to go on rides after we finished, and it was great to chat with friends. A winner all around!!
It makes me smile when my friends ask me to book a holiday photo session! Especially when it involves this little heartbreaker!
I love this Christmas outfit. So. Cute.
And it’s reversible!
