party time!

My son and I went to a birthday party yesterday! The theme was space, and it was lots of fun. The girls at paper&cake designed all the paper goods and they were amazing!!  We had a lot of fun and ate a lot of yummy treats!

We spent the day at Disneyland yesterday.  Since my younger son napped for two hours in his stroller, I had a lot of time to stroll him around and stop often to take pictures! There are so many beautiful things in Disneyland!

I even witnessed a proposal! Cutest thing I’ve ever seen. She was so surprised!!  🙂

fountains and stairs

I met up with a photographer in the area so we could talk photography and take pictures of each others’ kids. (It’s always fun to have different subjects!)

Here is her sweet daughter, who wasn’t too sure of me or having her picture taken.  After all, fountains and stairs are far more interesting than being photographed when you’re 15 months old!  🙂

My photo is from our outing to Disneyland yesterday. I had a GREAT relaxing time while our younger son was napping, strolling along with him snoozing in the stroller and stopping to snap pictures of whatever interesting things i saw!  This is one of the first shots I took – the statue of Walt Disney.  I love that I got the castle in the background.

After:

I took some shadow off his face and fixed up the color.  But then I wanted to see it in black and white.

I’m not sure how I prefer it, actually.  I know that I love Disneyland though!!  🙂  Head over to Pixel Perfect to enter your before and after!  Oh! I almost forgot – I used CS4 to edit this, and shot it with a canon 40D.
