Here’s my edit. I used photoshop cs4, and found that I didn’t have to do a lot. I fixed the color balance a bit, bumped the saturation, and was really happy. I realized the awesomeness of this reflection in these windows at the end of the shoot and was so excited! And I love doing maternity photos anyway. Their little boy was born only a week later!

I was both lower than they were on this awesome bridge, and tilted my camera for a different look, and I love it.
I really had fun staying with these friends, so as a thank you I did a quick family shoot for them. It was quick because it was SO COLD! We shot a few, wrapped up in coats, then repeated. M was a trooper, not fussing at all. I think we got a few really sweet shots, and had a lot of fun!
I first met Donata 5 1/2 years ago when I was her APES teacher. I then was her swim coach for two summers, and we have kept in touch for all these years! I had some ideas and locations I wanted to try out while I was in Durham, and she was a willing participant! These are my favorites:

This family is so awesome! We have known them for years and love them dearly. They added a daughter to their family in July, and their son is 3 1/2 and super smart! I had a lot of fun photographing all four of them for the first time!
Meet our former neighbors! This is a sweet sweet family who is a lot of fun! We really had the best neighbors when we lived in Durham. They just had a baby girl in September, and I had so much fun photographing all five of them.
This family is so sweet! We met at the American Tobacco Campus, where it was cold and windy. We started shooting inside, and braved the cold for a few at the end. They are moving out of the area soon, so I hope these photos are great memories of their home for years to come!
